Scanner traffic in the #Dayton, Ohio area is terrifying. Massive amounts of help are needed. A large, destructive tornado impacted the city’s north side and is ongoing still to the east of downtown.

Various feeds:

-Dayton Fire/Rescue requesting all personnel needed
-15-20k ft signature debris on doppler.
-Reports of major damage
-tornado restrengthening east of Dayton

Sad situation. Wasn't expecting to see this tonight.

Same part of the complex has strengthened back up, east of Cedarville.

You would think that the major news outlets would be all over this, but nothing, crickets.

If Donald Trump has sneezed in public they would have calling for him to be brought up on charges by the EPA 5 minutes after happened.

It's the midwest and night time. Usually storm trackers and local media is the ones who cover it.

It’s crazy on the long scan you see the inflow notch roll into the body (I would assume this is the meso, correct me if I’m wrong Duke) and then 50 miles later boom another inflow notch appears

The Weather Channel doesn’t even care about covering active severe weather anymore. They won’t break into their stupid shows to cover a tornado hitting a large city.

Don’t worry they’ll be live until 0100 tomorrow when there ISN’T a tornado wrecking a decent sized city. Guaranteed

Pretty intense! It’s hard to tell if it’s bad since it’s dark out
