SOLD!

Any Dallas real estate agents here?

Wait...In Dallas, do they lick dildos on the public square, like in Austin? I'm not real high on living with dildo lickers.

San Antonio doesn’t have trees? This is on the main highway 5 minute drive from downtown

This is a neighborhood 10 minutes from downtown

My Mexican mechanic who is tatted up and smokes weed at his shop told me he would never consider living in Dallas because of how diverse it is. Indians, Somali gangsters…. Had to lol.

Biggest issue with Dallas is that the private schools are $20k a year, the public schools seem all full of Indians, or there is one school, HP, but you have to pay 1.5million for a house.

Houston honestly could be better than Dallas for non-millionaires. Memorial is half the price of HP.

Woodlands seems cooler than whatever the Dallas equivalent is. Southlake? Might as well live in California.

My great great great (?) grandfather was the mayor of Dallas for a few terms in the early 20th century and late 19th. So my mothers cousins have a great life there. My uncle was the football coach at one of the private schools for decades.

Hard for a newcomer to live that nice life (with kids) without making bank.

But I guess coming from Louisiana it’s a lot better maybe.

I guess you haven't visited the MLK and Grand streets. There is a lot of culture there and real friendly people.

I moved from Dallas to Houston. and it is not. Houston is 10x more ghetto and the food scene is overrated. Dallas’ urban planning is also better.

Man I was agreeing with you up to this point. This could be considered a benefit honestly.

Unfortunately, it’s more like 2 million+ in university Park zoned for Highland Park ISD now.

And the Indian thing is a relatively recent occurrence at least in the scale that it’s in. I have friends in their mid to late 30s that went to suburbia high schools in Dallas and Fort Worth regions and they were majority White back then.

I'm not sure about living there but the Riverwalk is one of my favorite places to visit in Texas. I just enjoy that place immensely

While, I would agree generally. The benefit of Highland Park in Dallas is that it has its own better city services than the surrounding the city and has its own elite ISD.

That is where the comparison to Memorial is fair and why a ton of money is going there now.

West U and Bellaire somewhat fit the bill but still tied to HISD, just with better than the rest of HISD schools
