I'm gonna start walking. Might be faster than this traffic goes

Perkins was a clusterfrick getting home... some dumbasses got in a wreck in front of the Rouzan field and just left their vehicles in the lane. It wasn't bad, just a fender bender, pull off the fricking road you twats.

This is a new one.

I've been in BR traffic before. It sucks but it's absolutely nothing compared to Honolulu, D.C. or Los Angeles

Well, BR has 2/3 the population of Honolulu and not on a mountanous, volcanic island.
BR has 1/3 the population of DC, and is 74 times smaller than LA, so I'd hope so.

You can throw Atlanta in there too. Makes me miss the BR traffic

It has taken 30 min to get on to coursey from near Dairy Queen on Sherwood. I've never seen it like this. frick driving to the barn. I'm turning around to go home.

I see your point but how did you determine that L.A.'s population was 74 times larger than Baton Rouge?
Baton Rouge's population within the city limits is around 225,000 and L.A. proper is just under 4 million. If you factor in metro-areas Baton Rouge is just north of 1 million and L.A. is around 18 million.

You can't just look at population. You really have to look at population density as well as infrastructure
Posted on 3/17/16 at 5:51 pm to mjax57
Yeah Atlanta is bad but I wouldn't quite lump in with the other 3 cities I mentioned

I got on the 10 at Hwy 167 in Laffy at 1:55 this afternoon and got off the 12 at the 1077 exit of Madisonville/ Goodbee at 3:25. I blew through BR like a bus load of figs and damn glad of it after seeing this.

Ummm....
You'll have to probably pay for good ones. This 3 year old crop is kinda meh.
Go on oaks day and see the best of the crop. The filly songbird could beat the boys but they won't run her in the derby.

I realize it's last minute, but we're going visit family in Nashville for 2 days and we're thinking of things to do within 5-6 hours of Nashville once we leave and Louisville came to mind.

Give it a go. Just avoid the infield. Just another Mardi gras and you won't even see a horse
