Are you saying you have proof they raised their margins?

But do you really think the percent increase is just to offset the inflation? Cmon man.

If you paid attention at all to the trends of what larger businesses are doing to make money off this economy you'd have your answer.

doubling the labor cost for a fast food restaurant would cause them to raise the price of their food?

so youre making things up.

Do you understand economies of scale? What happens when you put mom and pop out of business, who thrives?

Unless they raised their margins a lot, there isnt price gouging.

I'll start worrying about the economy when I start seeing local McDonalds going out of business.

I can't remember, in my lifetime, seeing a single McDonalds sit vacant.

I've seen Burger Kings go out of business but never a McDonalds

The people doing the boycott are the same ones arguing to increase the minimum wage. They’re idiots.

They'll find out soon enough that wages force automation, and they'll have no people to "serve them" anymore.

I cant wait for automated food service and 24 hour operations.

Personally I’m just stating cause and effect. They can pay them $100 hr for all I care. We can choose to eat or not eat there.

Are the "record profits" adjusted for inflation?

Spoiler alert, they aren't. Just in the last decade, several years have exceeded the "record" profits they made last year after adjusting for inflation.

ETA: I love the downvotes with no responses So easy to know yall are so full of shite you can't defend the nonsense yall post.
