What's mind boggling is the math doesn't fit your agenda so you pout media slang from your boys over at fox News.

It's almost as if, wait for it, McDonalds, like several other large businesses, is using inflation as an excuse to price gouge the ever loving frick out of the consumer.

Ok. Random person on Redditt named, @WeBeatPokemon, calls for McDonalds boycott, and somehow this is news worthy. ??
Good luck with that.
How about Pokémon guy just saves some money and stop eating out all the time.
Social media is so flipping stupid. I'm tired of everyone having a voice.

Meanwhile, I boycotted McDonald’s because the food is not good for you, the service is horrendous and the quality of the food itself is disgusting.

Please tell me you don't think any company is using inflation as an excuse to price gouge. I need to read it. Would make my day.

Another white liberal narrative, Fox News. Even though I haven’t watched cable news in a decade he’ll keep going with it.

Stop eating fast food. Then you don't have to worry about it. It won't matter if a Big Mac is $30 at that point.

I don't eat that shite anyways unless it's last case scenario and even then I feel awful about it - but honestly how fricked is it that Gavin newsomes bullshite is bleeding out to the rest of the country?

FOX is a left wingers scapegoat.

If the cost of everything goes up with inflation, why is it "price gouging" for a business to increase its costs? Is it because their year over year increase is higher than the average rate of inflation?
Where do increased overhead/labor costs factor in to all of this supposed price gouging?

Let me Google who they are and I’ll get back with you. Labor cost increases raises prices, that’s how it works, it’s not a media driven policy like Fox News or goons you mentioned, that’s how it’s always worked. It’s not complicated and not always the old greedy white men at the top, although that can be part of it also. But when labor costs go up, just about every time, at least not long after, those costs get passed on to the customer.

Except they didn't double it. On average workers went from 11 to 17 an hour.
And unless super-size me was wrong, McDonald's doesn't have to increase their food prices exorbitantly to meet this raise, they're just greedy fricks at the top that don't want to sacrifice, but hey, most of you guys are ok with that.
You could have save the time and effort of typing all that out and just said you’re too stupid to comprehend how increasing labor cost by almost 55% (according to your own numbers mind you) impacts the cost of the end product to the customer.

it's not black and white. corporations aren't simply increasing prices to increase their profits. they are facing the results of inflation as well. stop being disingenuous.

For real. Stopped by a Dunkin today. 3 teenage kids with nose rings watching TikTok, 1 looked up to take my order after about 10 seconds.

Of course, but that's where price gouging under the guise of inflation comes in.
McDonald's raises their prices every year for decades. They do it by the penny, literally like once cent increases on items. It's why they're such a profitable franchise. Their food cost is low as shite because they buy the cheapest shite imaginable, and like most, had to increase more due to inflation, but they cranked that shite up to 11

Do you have some actual evidence to back these price gouging claims? Or is it just you sky screaming as usual?
