I've looked at Indochino and ownonly and can't decide if I want to stray away from Jos Bank buy one, get 3 free..

I'm not ballin' outrageous just yet and that deal is hard to pass up..

Any suggestions for an affordable tailored suit?

TIA

I've got ~8 suits and just got 3 of them tuned up, and 3 fit fantastically..

Looking for 2-3 that will fit fantastically like the good fits I have...

I'm an 'off the rack' Jos Bank Slim Fit... like, down to the sleeves and waist... the only thing that needs alteration is the pant leg hem...

I was into Jos Bank two days ago and their selection is garbage at the moment and I don't think I can wait until the Spring line is released...

Custom Suits online

I buy nothing that requires that much customization over the interwebz.

I'm all ears for a nicely tailored suit at a brick & mortar shop in NOLA...

It's hard to argue with a $300 price point if you know all of your measurements versus a $1,000+...

I get that you 'get what you pay for'... and I've already said that I'm not ballin' hard enough to drop $1,000+ per suit.

I've done indochino before. I was pleased with the quality and customer service.

I own 5 indochino suits and about 20 of their shirts. I love them. I got measured in NYC, but I'm sure I could have gotten it right online. They'll remake it anyway.

False. Their selection is ALWAYS garbage. Because it's garbage.

I have two suites from them. Good quality for the price and I get compliments on them.

Panties stay wet when I wear one.

Did they leave off a zero on the price, or are they really $200 suits?

Good quality =/= $200.

The most important part of custom clothes is the measurements. Don't get anything unless you can have a professional take your measurements. If you have someone other than the tailor making your suit or one of their reps, I would imagine each one would blame the other if your suit didn't fit. I'd make sure it is very clear what happens if this is the case so you don't get stuck with a poorly fitting suit.

These guys make a nice suit at a fairly reasonable price especially for custom suits.

The way they have you do your measurements really gets things right.

You'd think someone that supposedly buys $1000+ suits would understand what the phrase "good quality for the money" means and not keep trying to be "that guy" in a thread. I went ahead and bolded the important part from that phrase you seemed to have missed.

A $200 suit that is

good quality for the money
means nothing more than it doesn't have holes in it and they included the zipper at no extra charge.
