Current active cases of Covid misreported

If you test positive for Covid they tell you to quarantine for 14 days...if you are symptom free you are assumed cured...in TN the report cured if you are alive and not in the hospital 21 days after testing positive
When you look at national stats they are reporting over 1mm current active cases
If you apply TNs method to national data... current active cases are around 480k...with over 700k cured

Not enough man power or checks and balances or systems in place on the front end to close out the case on the backend.

Probably half the deaths that are attributed to the Chinese Flu are bogus.

There is plenty of testing capacity....they are testing around 10k a day in TN...but if they just follow the 21 days not dead or hospitalized method then you would be much closer to accurate vs only 200-300k recovered

So tn is more strict than most? What’s the correct way to do it, Dr?

There is no beneficial medicinal purpose to an individual who is asymptomatic to test for COVID.

The deaths aren’t bogus. The reason behind the deaths are. The deaths would have happened with or without it.

Somebody has to do that though. They are spending all the manpower on testing and not closing out cases. Hell they barely have a decent system to test people. They dont really have an accurate system to say someone is over it.
Have you ever had to deal hospital billing departments they can't even get that shite right. I got double billed by an out of network provider. They said it was an emergency test but it was not billed as an emergency and I was double billed for it. After 2 years I finally said F it and paid the 2500 bucks just so I would stop getting calls.

My cousin has gotten covid like 4 times since January and he goes back to the doctor and refill his meds and it gets better pretty fast. When a covid attack comes on he can barely get out of bed and just aches all over. He’s had decent luck treating it with percocet but says OxyContin works best for it. Not sure why trump isn’t looking into this treatment

If you are testing 10k a day with a 5% positive rate you tell those who were positive to come back in 14-21 days... negative the case is closed

I can’t remember if you are the guy who’s wife is an infectious disease doctor. If so, that’s hilarious.
You don’t see the point of knowing if someone asymptomatic going to visit grandma in the nursing home is important? I’m all for getting things back open. Have been for awhile, but let’s not be stupid about it so that the politicians try to play God again.

That’s one thing I’ve always looked at is cases with outcomes, either dead or cured, and it’s always around 25% which is horrifying.

That number is 1.3mm...the total active peaked at 550k and is now 70k lower
