CSB: school closures

I've been teaching at the same school for 20 years. I have about 1600 Facebook friends, most of which are former students and local friends. A few years ago there was a possibility of winter weather being forecast for the following day. Around 6PM I got on Facebook and posted "Know school tomorrow". Within two minutes my notifications and news feed were lit up like Christmas trees. I gave it about 30 minutes before I posted another status thanking everyone for being such good English students and telling them that there would, indeed, be school tomorrow. I teach history.

Actually, I'm the only teacher who lives in my rural district who hasn't had his/her mailbox completely destroyed. My students love me.
