My last job I quit I gave two weeks notice, worked the two weeks and walked out with my stapler.

Right after Christmas a guy evidently walked into our office in Houston (big company) and said I'm putting in a to day notice. I quit Today!!

I gave my two weeks notice once then unloaded stories of HR violations complete with proof via recordings of meetings that were made on an employer owned cell phone to my boss’s boss’s boss on my last day. My boss got fired soon after but I’m not 100% sure how much my meeting had to do with it. I assume it was the final straw or close to it.

Walked into the owners office to give my two week notice… he was mad and said ok let me walk you to your office… got there and he had someone bring a box…watched me box up and said ..great let me walk you to the door… my hands were full and as I struggled to open the door I said I guess you are not paying me the two weeks…
Got in my car … called my new company.. explained.. they said you want to drop by on way home.. your office is ready.. I pulled in dropped off my box and started work at the new company next day…
Guy ended up selling his company later for over 100 million dollars.. we were small and not written but everyone hoped he would sell it and share a little … he did not .. they all got laid off .

I wasn’t supposed to get one. Well, actually, I think I was supposed to but my boss never scheduled it because he knew he and I hated each other. Unfortunately for him, he hated me for me personally and I hated him for the boss that he was AND I had dirt on him.
His boss’s boss and I were very friendly with each other and he knew how to run the ship whereas my boss didn’t know his arse from a hole in the ground. I reached out to him after I put my notice in and asked if I could schedule a meeting with him to discuss some concerns I had. He was more than happy to take the meeting and was even happier he did after it was over.

The only thing I got is when I worked at a retail store in college my buddy quit and unwrapped all of the coins and left in the register. The next day the manager opened and was pissed he had to count like 400 pennies, 200 nickels, 100 dimes, and like 100 quarters
