The wife and I are going to drive in Friday afternoon since we have decided not to go to South Carolina for the game. Where should we go? I see there is a sock hop/block party in Ocean Springs and also "Pass in the Night" in Pass Christian, both from 5-9pm. Any input on either? We just want to hang out, look at cars and listen to music.

if you don't want to get stuck in insane traffic just go to Bay. St. Louis.

I'll say this about rat rods. They are their own car. After seeing 50 immaculate mustangs or camaros in a row, I lose interest or should I say, the appreciation for them.

We park in this field every year. The road is blocked off about a 1/4 mile down from here and all the festivities are right there. Stage setup,bands playing. Food being cooked. Great time. Google Maps street view

When I lived in Germany I found out the Germans loved American muscle cars, along with Johnny Cash, blues, jazz and cowboys. I appreciate the things that Euros do good along with good old Detroit steel and other things Americana.

I'm not in love with the hatchback but it was a project car with my father 10+ years ago in high school and I have had it ever since. We completely rebuilt the car and motor so its still fun to drive. I have different taste in muscle cars now and would love a '60 biscayne but I will hate myself if I get rid of this car. It has sentimental value that goes far beyond its appeal or value.

Dart block,Forged steel crank,Trick Flow twisted wedge heads,Trick flow Intake, 347 CI. stroker, 80 mm intercooled turbo, F.A.S.T. fuel managment system with Wideband O2, and a heavily built AODE with 3000 RPM stall.
In the mid 90's car ran 9.75 @ 143 mph.

I'd say you have me by about 3 seconds. I'm naturally aspirated, 302 bored 0.030, with some milder mod's for the cam, heads, intake. But my dad also didn't trust me at 18 so it was a wise choice.
