Best of luck to all the runners today. I used to love running the CCC. Wish I was there today.

I'm running next year. That's been my goal with this weight loss bit from the start. From 337 to the CCC. Down nearly 100 lbs now, working in getting my endurance up to run next years race.

Worst time ever..

I, however, did finish first in the "Running with Food Poisioning" category.

Wanted to do under an hour, but I ran with the wife and waited until the 5 mile marker to pick up my speed and leave her behind. Should have started at 4 miles.

Good for you! Keep up the hard work!

My dad has been overweight his whole life and I see what a struggle it is for him daily. My heart aches for him plus I worry about him constantly.

55 could have done better. But as with every year probably had to run about 7 total miles with all the bobbing and weaving I had to do to avoid all the fat asses who start in the front with the seeded runners and then walk.

fricking walkers make me want to bring a golf club and kneecap their fat worthless asses.

Nothing like 1400 pounds of female NO East residents walking 4-5 wide on Poydras wearing G-H bibs and getting pissed when you run into them.

I did it...whew, ran in memory of my Uncle who died in December. He used to travel in for this race every year. We had a tradition of jumping in at the Claiborne overpass as he got older.

Did the whole 6.2 this time...walkers need to wait longer to start. Was weaving in/out for the first 2 miles. Probably ran 8 miles dodging their big asses.

It was the same in group D. I think if you wanna miss all the walkers you're gonna have to post a qualifying time from a previous race.

I'm gonna do that next year.
