We both moved in to the neighbor hood with in a year and we didnt know anything about these neighbors or other wise we may not have bought the place.

I too live in Washington Parish. After reading this, I started to wonder if the woman with no teeth that sells watermelons drives a black Chevy truck and parks on the side of the road to sell said melons? I'm in Franklinton btw.

thanks man, yea we have thought about moving but she dosnt talk to us anymore so its been good. We just sit back and watch the fun. when they fight we go and sit on out screened in porch and watch.

80k for a house on 5 acres? is it a shack on 5 acres or did you just get some sort of crazy deal (likely because of the neighbors)?

It was an older couples vacation home from Houma. They would stay in it during hurricanes and during the summer. We became pretty good friends with them and they offered it to us for that price and we couldnt refused. He was a fire fighter and so is My wife's dad. They sold it because they were getting to old to make the trip from Houma to Washington parish.
