frick this company. Internet and cable went out last Friday at 10:00am and I got the convenient text message Saturday morning at 7:30am telling me it had been restored. Good thing I had plans all day and night. Watching the tube tonight and same shite happens again. Customer service says it will take 4-6 hours (same shite as last time) but could be sooner and all they can do is make sure I’m signed up for their text messaging service.

Calling tomorrow for at least a month credit.

We have Cox and outside of the flood we probably haven't had an hour of outages in 6 years.

I like the smoky, smooth voice of John at the Silver Slipper. They have a great buffet, I’m told.

True story
My Wife and I moved our business across the street. Sales reps came calling we added security cameras new routers hosting. Just about everything you could get through a business. When the move date came instead of transferring service the shut it off and made us set up new accounts our business went 3 days with out internet or phones!!!!!

We moved houses a month later. Same fricking thing!

I documented EVERYTHING. Every conversation, every time I called, wait times who I talked to.

I ended up writing a nasty gram to the Executive team in Atlanta! I think it was 9 people on the board. By the time I was finished it was 7 pages long!!!! I literally could have added about 10 more pages but just had to end it.

They sent out the head guy for the BR Market to our office. He sat in our office for about 2 hours getting everything sorted out.

This all went down July of 2018.

Fast forward to this past Wednesday. They came out to our business to install the neighbors cable!!!! Cut our fricking internet and cable and phone line around lunch time. It did not come on until Thursday afternoon.

A bunch of dumb asses at that company that don’t give a shite. Your public service commissioner ain’t going to do much because they employ several thousand voters!!!

Cox SUCKS

Warehouse district

I'm in Mid-City and earlier this year it was going out very frequently. One time it was out for over a week because some dumbass decided to disconnect service to a small area because their lines were getting some sort of feedback according to their customer service rep.

Funny thing was, I had one of those small basic only connection boxes no bigger than a paperback book that got basic cable just fine, but the larger DVR capable boxes and internet didn't work at all.

I'm getting ready to disconnect and get an antenna to go with Netflix and maybe another site like Hulu and stream stuff off my laptop.

My sister-in-law just did this and is saving over $100 a month.
