7 day average clearly isn't rising.
Despite more REPORTED CASES.
There is no need for panic.

That is true, hopefully this the start of a downward trend...we could use some good news for a change.

Covid is burning itself out.
But we’re testing way more than ever so surprise we’re finding more cases.
If deaths continue to decrease who gives a shite.

For the long term, rising case numbers with declining deaths would actually be the best case scenario.

Perception from media:
COVID cases up 135% and deaths up a staggering 200%.

No. We’re just smart enough to understand that, given the explosion of new cases, there will be an increase in deaths. It’s been said by multiple specialists “ The death rate always lags several weeks behind the infection rate...”
Hail Hail in one of the true believers. He’s like his idol, Trump, and “wishin and hopin” it all goes away.

I’m pretty sure Hail is the complete opposite of “wishin and hopin” it goes away. That would be the people harping for more government mandates

Look how mad the doomers are that less people are dying. It's sad that you want more people to die so you can be right.

So you mean the 55k cases announced Thursday did not lead to immediate death?
We’re way past the point of what should be a huge uptick in deaths from liberals protesting and rioting.
What a lame arse post you made.

A decrease in proportional deaths, and potentially a dramatic one.
The people who are testing positive are much younger. Plus, with summer weather, people are more active and they’re getting more sun.

It's strange that 6 weeks into TX's horrific and tragic Covid spike, that deaths remain a minuscule 8 deaths per 100,000 cases. The same it was 6 weeks ago. Wait...nevermind, were up to 9. It's almost like physicians and facilities have learned how to treat the disease after several months of good data.
death rates by state

quote:That narrative has been shut down with evidence many weeks ago. Tests and cases are 1000% correlated based on data. Deaths are not. People rush to test, many asymptomatic are positive. People are going to the hospital and getting released more efficiently than before. Very few people are dying and the ones that are... well old and/or have predicting condition.

Protect the vulnerable and everyone else get back to work. The best people in our country, the small business owners, are absolutely getting fricked.

How many states didn't report today because of the holiday? I know Louisiana didn't report today.
