Popular local establishments Serendipity and Last Call are permanently closed. All the remains of this vivacious strip is New Orleans Ladies gentleman’s club, Pegasus Gentleman’s club, and Pink Lady gentleman’s club.

If this doesn’t show you restrictions are killing some of our most important local businesses, I don’t know what will

Why arent they open?

Leesville seems like the kinda place where businesses would tell JBE to frick off and sheriff wont enforce anything

They’re closed down for good with for rent signs on the door. Would you like to go in as a silent partner on a strip cub?

And each one dirtier than the next. It really was a magic time for a while.

Now the area will suffer a shortage of nurses because some of them can't pay for school anymore.

What a tragedy.

Probably because Post regulations prohibit troops from going off post to those establishments.

The US Military has gone full-blown Karen over this stupid shite. So glad I'm out now.

You can’t go to a strip club or bar off base? I thought that was the whole draw of military life

I had a boss who was stationed there. He called it Diseaseville. It’s like that anywhere there is a large military base.

I'm sure Ft Polk is following the same guidelines as Fort Gordon, so no.

They also can't eat indoors at restaurants, even if local ordinances say they can. Only outdoors.

I always wonder what life would be like if you ran around these places your entire life instead of getting married. Just banging strippers and hard 4s every night, getting piss drunk, etc

I would venture to say that if you have spent any reasonable amount of time in Leesville, then you have probably caught something worse than COVID and are immune.

It's odd too because DeRidder/Beauregard Parish used to be in the Guinness for most churches per capita. A 100% contrast just 20 minutes apart.

Currently stationed at Ft. Polk, but in Africa at the moment. Pegasus wasn’t that bad when I went. Leesville overall isn’t too terrible IMO. Decent hunting and fishing. I’m from a small town in Arkansas so it reminds me of home.
