See this being mentioned in areas like Philadelphia. But when you browse the local hospital websites they don't say shite about cases.

My local hospital has front and center a tracker that shows the current number of COVID patients and those on vents for their entire hospital system. If cases rise, you will see it. It's currently hovering near zero.

But places like Philly? No transparency. Just trust us and put your mask on and get your tenth booster.

Ridiculous.

It's all about MAIL IN VOTING ! They have to start now to scare the sheep and get the ball rolling again to 'harvest' all of those unsecured ballots.

I just had it here in NYC. First time I had covid almost exactly a year ago, it was awful. I was miserable, but got through it fine. This was pre-VAX.

What I just had I would call a minor inconvenience. I would say ~10-20% as bad as last time.

Here is everything you need to know about Philly's mask mandate return:

quote:

The city’s decision is at odds with the recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Basing its designation on hospital admissions among other benchmarks, the C.D.C. considers Philadelphia to have a “low” community level, and thus does not advise required masking.

Asked about the difference, Dr. Bettigole emphasized that “local conditions do matter” in making these decisions, and brought up the inequities in the virus’s impact. “We’ve all seen here in Philadelphia, how much our history of redlining, history of disparities has impacted, particularly our Black and brown communities in the city,” she said. “And so it does make sense to be more careful in Philadelphia, then, you know, perhaps in an affluent suburb.”

There's plenty of transparency in the actual CDC metrics. Currently Philadelphia County is in a "Low Risk" area with only 2.6 hospital admissions per 100K and 55 cases per 100K

CDC Dashboard

However, the Philadelphia Dept of Health has their own metrics, and one of them is this nugget

quote:

Cases have increased by more than 50% in the previous 10 days

No caveats for number of cases, just straight percent increase

Somewhere in a Democratic HQs they have backward planned a schedule for this.

November - Elections

September - Democratic Secretary of States finalize mail-in ballot plan.

August - Politicians declare emergency.

June - First cases of new strain hit media.

Damn. What happens if the cases rise from 2 to 8, a 300% increase? Forced jabs?

Nope. Not even close.

They're just greasing the wheels to start with their inevitable cheating for the mail-in ballots in regards with the midterms. Again.

That's it. That is all. That fricking simple.
