What you just described sounds like what I look forward to doing as a grandparent. I can't wait to love them grand babies sugar them up and then send them home.

Nurse you are on and off about this issue lets fast forward 10 years will you regret not having kids if this is what you and B decide on?

We want a child....will that actually happen? Not sure yet.

However.....I can honestly say that I could be happy either way. I don't HAVE to be a mother to lead a happy and fulfilling life. Bash me all you want.....but I've been kinda placing this in God's hands.

People don't admit to being unhappy on the internet. It's a fact. Everyone is an e-badass. Look at TD. We have a few weirdos who cry for attention, but pretty much everyone else is measuring their dicks on here.

No issue with couples not wanting kids. Just have an issue when they call their dogs and cats their kids and treat them as such.

i mean it's fine...from an evolutionary standpoint, they are not passing on their genetic material...survival of the fittest.

Oh well your genes are gone after you die, sucks for you

Please tell me a reason why you have to get legally married if you don't want kids. I don't get it

Good luck on that journey. We had to have help with both of ours. I am just pointing out the OP is asking do people regret not having kids as they age. I think most people will. It is a natural instinct to reproduce. There's no way to get around that.

Do you really believe that still applies to humans?

To spend the rest of your life with that person and enjoy the legal benefits of marriage as well as take vows before God that you will be with that person until death?

Nurse I am not bashing you at all. You and B are like family to me. I hear things from my younger bro and now my gf that sound like somethings you post on here about not getting any younger and stuff. I will never bash you hell if and when you do I can babysit

We evolved as such for many thousands of years, but I don't think survival of the fittest applies in our society.
