I drive my truck, she drives her car. Whoever decides to drive that day drives. Sometimes it's a pain in the arse to stop to get gas if you're just stopping at the grocery so that's usually a decision maker.

No big deal IMO.

I prefer to not drive, however I may have been in the back seat of my car once. I am secure enough in my manhood to not have to drive in order to feel like a man.

For me its nothing to do with gender. Its that my wife is a horrid driver, can't handle directions, and takes forever to get somewhere.

If a dude had the same traits, I would insist on driving him as well.

I drive whenever the family is going somewhere. On rare occasions my wife will drive. A couple of times on really long trips I asked her to drive a couple hours or so just to give me a break. But she only likes doing that on long stretches of 4-lane highways or interstates. If we're taking the backroads to the beach and there are 3-4 turns she would have to watch closely for, I drive that stretch.

And sometimes when we're out running errands around town, I will start out driving, but the kids will get restless so she will get to the checkout at the store and let me finish that up and go ahead to take the kids out to the car. She's usually sitting curbside waiting to pick me up, and I just let her drive to the next spot.

This isn't as big a deal as some are making it out to be. Like I said, I drive about 98% of the time, but if she gets in the drivers seat I don't care.

My wife gets carsick if she's a passenger and I like to read or play dumb games on my phone so she drives.

Win/win

I drive close to 1,000 miles a week for work. So I love it when I don't have to drive.

So do I, but if my wife and I are going somewhere I'm driving, unless its on the way home and I've had too much to drink.

shite, I drive my dad around in his own vehicle when we go places together just because I cant stand to ride in the passenger seat.

Beta. No "man" rides in the back seat of a car he owns unless there are EXTREMELY exigent circumstances or he's been chauffered, period.

Now - I occasionally let Mrs. Midnight drive, particularly if we're in her truck. And, for example, if my eyes are dilated after an eye exam, or I'm recovering from surgery. And, very, very occasionally on a long trip if it is not safe to drive, but she's a bigger risk to fall asleep if I'm sleeping, so I can't sleep in the passenger seat, anyway. - so , if it is not safe for me to drive, it's better to stop for the night.

But, yeah, your buddy is beta as frick, baw.

I hope that when I finally find Mrs Moo Moo that she does all the driving and bill paying.

Mine drives me anywhere on nights after I went drinking heavily, especially long trips like from new orleans or baton rouge back to houston. She is a saint and realizes i would probably fall asleep at the wheel.

It sounds like the three of us married the same woman. I've actually had a talk with my father-in-law where he apologized to me for how bad a driver his daughter is

Letting the woman drive is reserved explicitly for when I've had a few too many. End of line.

In a lot of ways I'm a "progressive thinker" when it comes to women's rights and stuff. But driving, frick that. They inherently suck at it. I've got zero patience for it. And, I actually like to drive. Plus, on road trips it takes all of 5 minutes of highway miles for her to nod off.

I get to drive, I get to control the music choices, and she isn't yapping. WIN!

Any man that routinely lets his woman drives is a nutless beta. Sorry, but it's true.

My wife drives because I hate driving. Which sucks because I hate the way she drives. But my hate for driving supersedes her driving style.

my mom always drove. Its because she was the one with the minivan and my dad drove a sedan.

It made sense, my dad is a full foot taller than my mom , and they would just have to realign the mirrors and seats and etc.

Let her drive.

Gives me time to drink and be drunk. Play on the phone, whatever.

It's like having a free chauffeur.

i GENERAlly drive in the city but I have no problem riding shotgun if we're in her car.. On road trips we split the driving. She is a good freeway driver. B
