Do people not know their significant others pass codes?
I don't know how a girlfriend could "hack" it
I assume most people that are relatively close don't exactly keep their pass codes from each other

Neither my phone or hers has a pass code and we leave them laying around. If your spouse has a pass code then trouble is brewing.

Seeing as there is no pass code he could get in pretty easy.

Or they have an IPhone 6s that requires you to have a passcode if you want to utilize Apple Pay. My husband knows my passcode.
I just tried turning off my passcode and an alert popped up saying if I did so all my Apple Pay stuff would be inactivated.

My son mentioned that. He has an iPhone 6. Me and wife have Samsung S5.

But not on your burner phone, right?
I mean, let's not get too carried away with that "trust" deal.

Of course Apple helped the FBI they just dont want the public to know about it.
yep and what the FBI is asking for is not some tool that can be used more than once. Great use of a scare tactic by apple though.

No, it has some updated version that will cause it to basically delete all files after too many failed attempts.
That's an option that all firmwares have and have had a long time. It's not an "updated version." While I have seen articles mention this feature, I have not seen any article actually confirm that this setting was enabled on the terrorist's phone.

I don't have a password on my Iphone bc I'm not typing one every single fricking time i pull my phone out. anyone can hack my phone. The only thing I have a password on is Venmo to wire money and a photo vault

Not mine. Every time she wants to use my phone, because she doesn't understand the concept of keeping her's charged, she has to ask for my pass code.

You must not use Apple Pay.

I don't even know what Apple pay is

My significant other doesn't need to hack my phone, she knows how to get into it if needed. We have nothing to hide from each other so no reason to lock her out of it.

You can pay for items with just your phone at places that accept Apple Pay. Your debit or credit card is linked to your phone but you have to have passcode/fingerprint set on your phone.

She could easily do it while I'm asleep by pressing my thumb to screen.
Was thinking about this exact thing the other night.
