Nah. Vegas is good for the nightlife. I'm past the nightlife phase of life.

They showed several aerial views of Vegas during the broadcast and all you would see were streets, buildings and lots and lots of brown surface area.

Not much in the way of greenery like lawns, shrubs, trees. I'd be miserable living in such a bleak landscape.

And no Redfish or Speckled Trout. That's a deal breaker for me.

Lake Tahoe or between it and Reno for me. LV would seem to get old quick.

Cool desert shite. Easy drive to Cali and Utah national parks. I could do it.

Exactly what fatigued me out on UAE. After you get over the exotic buildings and exciting city life, you're still in a miserable desert. I need more.

Last time I was there was in April, not to hot. The day before we left it was snowing on one side of Vegas and in the 60's on the other side. Played golf that afternoon.

I've been to Red Flag a time or two but I've only driven to Area 51 once, it was surreal how barren and depressing the landscape is outside of Vegas, Boulder was a little bit different

No shite Sherlock. I've never understood people living in remote areas of deserts going on and on about how beautiful the desert is.

I guess the only thing I'd find interesting is to star gaze at night since remote areas have so little light pollution.

my company merged with a company based in Phoenix and consequently I'm around a lot of people that lived there or commute from there, they all rant and rave about what a great place it is to live, but as the conversation continues it sounds more like what is attractive to them is what's in reasonable driving distance from Phoenix, not actually living in a blast furnace

I had cousins who lived in Baton Rouge then New Orleans. Around the mid sixties they had enough of Louisiana and headed to Vegas in their Volkswagon Beetle. They settled there, accumulated a bunch of rental properties in the area and never looked back here. It was a good move for them.

If I wanted to live in Nevada I'd move to Lake Tahoe.

Wife and I spent a few days in Vegas for an educational seminar.I enjoyed it and would like to go back for a few days,no desire to live there.

One thing I wondered about was all the sightseer, helicopters. It seems like it would be very annoying for the people that live anywhere close to the strip.having helicopters constantly flying over your house.

Spent 4 days in Vegas, nice place but I don’t think I’d want to live there.

Spent a couple of days in Sedona before heading to Vegas , think I could live there.

I could but wouldn't want to. If I was going to move out west, I think Salt Lake City would be my choice.

There is a little mountain paradise area in Nevada near Elko. Ruby mountains. Unfortunately there's frick all in the surrounding areas unless you are a rancher or working in the gold mines. I did a project out there on one of the gold mines and was really surprised to find that mountain range in the middle of nowhere.
