This is great news, since so many of the O-T and Poli Board members will refuse to go into Costco now, it means it will be a much quicker trip for me! Thanks guys!

As the lockdowns ease and human traffic increases, social distancing will become more difficult requiring more proactive measures to be enacted within stores.

This is the O-T, reasonable discussion will not be allowed, no sir!

I have the same beef with stores that are making people line up before entering.....home depot is massive and easy to social distance in, but they made people wait in line

Funny story. I had an online pickup at HD, but choose to run into the store instead of curbside because I wanted to work up a cost estimate for my next project. I go to customer service to grab my item, then proceed to exit the store. The lady doing the headcount for people to leave was actually making people stand in line to exit. She would let a group go, then make sure they were 6' from the door before the next group could leave.

One of the easiest and most effective things they could do to stop the spread is disinfect that between customers, but NO ONE is doing that.

I've seen several Target stores spray the belt and keypad between EVERY customer.

Most businesses will require customers to wear masks for the rest of this year.

as is there prerogative. Same as no shirt, no shoes,...

But I will be looking for retailers who do not require PPE as a condition of spending my money with them.

A lot of places are doing that. Regardless, it's silly to complain that they're doing something just because they aren't doing everything.

Him: "I can't believe they're making us wear masks. It's pointless."

Also him "Look at all this other stuff they should be doing to lessen the spread."

This is the way it should be. Businesses decide for themselves instead of the government making everyone do it.

I have no issue with this.
so let's open a whites only Costco.

Too late. We are passed the peak. I quit quarantine and masking this week.

Pretty much all we are seeing as far as new infections are nursing home patients.

Curious what point you think you're making here.

My membership lapses this month so this is reason enough to not renew until this policy ends. I love Costco, but I'm not paying to wear a mask.

Lol this is so cringe.

Surely the face mask requirement is in the membership contract somewhere.

what is wrong with wearing a mask to protect yourself and others when inside a store with heavy traffic and poor air circulation?

I think it's because there are several posters in here saying that they are going to quit going to Costco over this, just a hunch though

Hello Costco greeter, why yes I am wearing a mask. I work for a high tech manufacturing firm and this is a prototype of our new nano-fiber stealth mask. Prove I'm NOT wearing a mask but keep your mitts to yourself.
