In highschool we had a snack vending booth manned by the Jr. ROTC after morning break (after first period). Swiss rolls were straight up break time currency. A pack of 2 for $0.50. Great stuff

The ones we used to buy came in a clear plastic tray but they were mostly the same. We would crush those things in the morning with some milk. Unraveling them was half the fun.
