This press conference has been very, very good. The number of tests and facilities for testing available by nest week is a strong, if slow, response. Wish we knew they’d been working on this the last week.

Biggest issue so far unaddressed is money available for people who are forced to miss work. Would like this to be an area of immediate focus.

We’re looking at the turning point here.

This team effort Trump laid out is very good.

The market loved it too.

the 3 major hospitals in Cleveland (Metro, University and Cleve Clinic) all planning for rollout of drive thru testing for Covid 19

Governor also shut down visitors to prisons and nursing homes. Possibly closing daycares next on top of the 3 week closure of schools

Others feel free to add things I’ve missed:

- National Emergency declared.
- Request that states review and implement emergency plans as needed
- Partnered with CEOs if large, private labs 10 days ago for accelerated test creation and availability
- 1/2 Million tests available by start of next week and additional 1.4 M available mid to end of next week
- Google has 1,000+ engineers creating website to assist in facilitating testing
- Partnered with Walgreens, CVS and other companies to offer testing, including using drive-through testing in key areas
- Interest in student loans waived for now.
- Purchsed oil to keep in reserve, if needed

With new google site tracking and drive thru testing this should be over in two weeks

I think most agree?

I have no idea if this is the right move or not, but it is certainly going to cause an undo burden on a lot of families. Without school or daycare, who is going to take care of the kids? While telework is a great option for some, it is not an option at all for some of the most critical jobs such as healthcare and infrastructure. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

It will create a huge surge in cases which should, in turn, cause a steep drop in the current mortality rate. That should ease some of the panic.

Trump crushed that.

I finally feel like we have a plan.

Bringing all those CEOs up to speak was a great move. It was a very effective and powerful show of force.

If we can get politicians to submit bills that address only this and stop tacking on non-related, partisan items.
