Our problem is we don't know where our problem is going to be. So that Is what is causing the shotgun approach with social distancing. No governor, mayor, etc. wants to be the next Wuhan or Lombardy.
In my opinion the problem originated with the airline industry and the recirculation of air in those planes. You have one person who is infected with the virus and the airborne virus recirculates throughout the cabin so everyone on the plane is infected. The only way we could have stopped the spread would have been to halt all domestic and international air travel a month ago.
However, this would have caused an absolute shite storm had we done that but in looking back it would have been the right thing to do for the US.

Is there a Tom Hanks update?
He is doing fine, so you won’t hear anything from MSM

One thing we can all agree on, 110% media outlets were praying for a Tom Hanks death

I hope he tells it like it is. I hope it's not a well rehearsed speech.

One thing of note for the machines worried about hospitals being overrun
Britain is currently reporting 96% of cases as mild
With only a 4% rate of cases not self treatable, what infection number would it actually take to overrun the hospitals? Seems pretty large right friends?

Airlines probably do transmit viruses to a degree but the air in the cabin is circulated through a HEPA filter which removes 99.9% of viruses.

Is there a demographic breakdown of that data?

I'm going to start a Black Lives Matter spinoff called Flu Deaths Matter.

You think it's safe to take a domestic flight then? With reasonable precautions, of course. Can't be much worse than walking around in public, especially with the precautions that airlines are taking right now

Still ignoring that most ICU beds are already full?

I'd like to see the demographics out of Germany and UK. That would be helpful. No idea why they aren't being more transparent.
