I think you might’ve missed it.

The hospital workers who were infected were in contact with a patient who didn't get tested in time cause they didn't reach the threshold for testing, but eventually did test positive, showing that the threshold for testing is bullshite.

Speaking of major figures possibly getting the virus, I’m watching near 80 year olds Biden and Sanders give speeches in rooms full of hundreds. They are out on the campaign trail shaking hands with hundreds nearly every day. This is a serious issue for their teams to address.
So Bernie had a rally with thousands in attendance today in San Jose, CA, the same county (Santa Clara) where we know there has been at least one instance of community spread.

Hopefully we can pull an HK
Unless the generational attenuation is a thing, I think we are past that.
They closed ranks on the issue with all the resources they can muster.
We denied expansive monitoring for longer than even the Chinese did, and we now have multiple community level outbreak clusters.

North Korea gives their coronavirus update, Rodong Sinmun Mar. 2:
-Still nobody infected
-Receiving praise from WHO and experts for success over more advanced countries
-But don't get complacent
-Quarantining all imports 10 days without unpacking
-Everyone wear masks
Thank God for the beacon of purity that is North Korea. There is hope for all of us yet.

Yeah... the testing threshold has always been bullshite. I don’t think it’s because the CDC doesn’t realize that, it’s because they keep fricking up the capability to test. Tests were sent out then recalled due to errors. Today we still don’t seem to have any more capability than a month ago. That is by far the biggest failure in all of this and something case studies will be done on in the future

Expected no less from WHO

My wife's vet clinic is running out of masks already and can't get more because of dumbasses. It's yalls pets that are going to get coughed on during surgery. Idiots.
Same here. In fact, there are quite a few things on back order and it is becoming increasingly difficult to operate. Not sure if it is due to supply chain disruptions or something other cause.

Will the changing of seasons and a warmup in the weather help to get this virus under control?

Add Egypt to the list of countries that have more cases than they are reporting. A new case in Canada has been traced back to Egypt but Egypt is only claiming one case that has recovered.
2 new cases in US traced back to Egypt and potentially 13 cases in France traced back to Egypt. Egypt is bad off.

I've posted this a couple of times - LINK
TL, DR summary
quote:
The short answer is that while we may expect modest declines in the contagiousness of SARS-CoV-2 in warmer, wetter weather and perhaps with the closing of schools in temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere, it is not reasonable to expect these declines alone to slow transmission enough to make a big dent.

Unless I've missed sarcasm, that's NK state media propaganda saying that the WHO has said that.
The WHO would not praise NK because it wouldn't know anything.

BREAKING: New York state reports first case of coronavirus

@Laurie_Garrett
According to this #SARSCoV2 genetic analysis the viral strain in Washington State traces to a Chinese strain from Fujian, likely arriving in Seattle area before January 15.
If this is true, #COVID19 has been in the area, undetected, for 6 weeks.
This would also confirm the suggestion that it takes sometimes 30-40 days to show symptoms.

No one knows, most experts I’ve heard have said it may slow it down some but they don’t expect it to stop.

And we continue to pretend that this is just a "flu".
