So their tests are faulty?
My test came back negative today and I still have to quarantine for 14 days. I guess there are fears of false negatives.

This is similar to what happens with variations of the Herpes virus in our bodies.

It’s heartbreaking and I don’t want any more families to suffer. That’s why I’m making this request, the impact is real.

quote:I mean no disrespect and do totally empathize the terrible position it appears the Black community is in with Covid. I don’t even want to argue why the Black community finds itself disproportionately afflicted by so many underlying conditions that Covid exploits and exacerbates. But the grim fact is that this is the present reality. And in my opinion only, it is not enough to make structural changes, if individual choices are not also going to change. We of all ethnicities all need to clean up our diets, engage in real exercise or activity, and improve our individual healthcare monitoring. Opportunities for better healthcare availability, beyond ERs and the like will need to be found, created and/or funded for those who cannot afford their own GPs. Covid may be our collective last wake up call.
We know why things impact our communities and people worse. Historic and structural racism got us here. It’s now time we demand our leaders make structural change to prevent this type of disparity from existing ever again.
