You are making this black and white, when it just isn't.
You don't like it because a cop tried to bust some dudes smoking weed. That's as black and white as it gets.

no. He is a cop whether he is on duty or not. It would be unethical for him to ignore crimes when he isn't on the clock.
This and it was his job to report a crime in action.
Weedheads, don't go away mad, just go away.

Calling in some crimes is ok, calling in crimes you disagree with are not.

I have come to the conclusion that you are a bigger douchecanoe than your pothead friends.
How would you feel if he called in a suspected drunk driver?

I wonder if they would have been just as upset if he heard about a crash on said police equipment and was able to maneuver around it to get them home faster.

If he saw someone being wreckless with their vehicle late at night? I wouldn't have a problem with it all. What is your point?

Oh? There's plenty of laws that don't get enforced that can lock you away for a long time. Sodomy for example. Have you ever received a blowjob? Congrats, you're a sex offender.

The point is that even in states that have legalized marijuana, it's illegal to smoke while driving or drive while under the influence. Just like alcohol*.
*except in Mississippi.

I actually already addressed that exact hypothetical earlier in the thread.
I'm not sure how you guys are deducing that I am okay with ignoring violent crimes or potentially violent crimes just because I wouldn't want to be in the same car with someone narcing on someone smoking weed.
