I’ve watched every first 48.
You’re wrong. Seen plenty of black and white offenders.

Troubling questions

Because the chase ended in Austin, the Austin Police Department Special Investigations Unit is investigating with Moore’s Civil Rights Unit.

The Statesman began looking into the case in February after investigators said they were troubled about what they were learning and frustrated that they felt stymied by Williamson County’s failure to cooperate.

But it is unclear how aggressively investigators acted with the information they did have, including what steps they took to obtain video from “Live PD” and how quickly they took them. Moore said she is troubled that the show so far has produced no video.

I appreciate all the questions about the horrible death of Javier Ambler. Unfortunately the @statesman story was filled with inaccuracies. See below. Thanks.

. . When I say “they” have had the body cam footage from day one I am talking about the local prosecutors who investigated the death of Javier Ambler.

.@statesman should really focus on the death of Javier Ambler and on the fact that DA @ElectMargaret (note the twitter handle) is suddenly focused on this now even though she had the body cam footage for over a year? Their reporting on #LivePd has been a journalistic disaster.

And to be clear as I have said on my @SXMPOTUS show, you can both support the important and impactful peaceful protests and support the overwhelming majority of police officers doing the noble and difficult work they do every day.

You in fact *can't* support both the protests and the cops. They are diametrically opposed positions. You idiot. You spineless moron.

This is the problem. . .

Good. These shows have an extremely shady history/MO.

Dan Abrams is a good man.

And I met Sticks at a conference one time, he was super nice guy and talked to my wife and I for a good bit.

Policing in this country needs a makeover. If getting rid of a couple reality TV shows helps calm some of the anger, that's a good start, and it's an easy thing to get rid of.

Live PD and Cops aren't causing the anger. It's the media who focus their coverage 24/7 on specific instances in order to rile people's emotions up and get ratings.
