They shut Bluebonnet down to one lane both ways every weekend. I travel it at least once a weekend and have never seen anyone actually working on it. Anyone know the timetable or what exactly they are trying to accomplish other than unnecessary traffic?

Got stuck in that mess yesterday. There were people working, but I have no idea wtf they are doing.

I think they’re repairing sections of the curbs

Then why shut down the middle lane?

I believe they do a majority of the work at night. At least they did when they were working on the section by Fairhill/Springlake.

They've had that section near the interstate torn up for what seems like a year.

they do that for fun with cones blocking off lanes for no reason. It was Seigen a few weeks ago.

They've torn up Sherwood and just seems like they've stopped working on it. They had one lane closed yesterday so maybe they are working on it at night

I've heard Sherwood is a REAL cluster. I haven't gone down it since they started

They typically bust out and pour new concrete at night and let it cure during the day. The biggest problem I have is that they're going back to the same locations time and time again. They'll pour a new panel in the road then completely skip over pouring a new curb 15 ft away. 2 weeks later they'll come back and pour half the curbs but leave some that still need to be poured. It's fricking maddening. This bullshite has been going on for 9 or 10 months.

Nope. Both at the same time. At least most weekdays they've opened both lanes.

I'm no road construction expert but it looks like they should be ready to resurface it between I-12 and Airline. It did need to be done. Just painful because of how busy that road is.

They're dragging their feet until they get that new gas tax.

damn, well you're right, it really did need it. Will be nice when it's done.

I'm waiting to see how long until they are going to do something about I-12 coming into town from O'neal on down..it's really in need of some attention.
