I am not planning on enlisting.
I will look into the ROTC and Army options though.

Why didn't you go ROTC?
Its practically a sure thing. you have 4 semesters to go.
Do ROTC. During the 4th semester, they will test you. If you make it, you can get your next two years college paid, and a nice salary before you do your six years. You gets a masters on them, and some pocket change. Few people get real money while working on a masters , so its a real opportunity. if you want to do well in the military, you will need to have a masters after you are at the rank of captain anyway, so you will be ahead of the rest of them. And you won't have to do it part time. MBA will serve you well after you get out, too.

I never had military on my mind until a few months ago. I have been researching off and on but the more I look into it the more I feel I want to go this route.

No completely necessary but a nice to have regarding your promotion packet, along with Advanced Operations Course and the like if not a resident student. If Title X active duty, then I would agree, but Reserve component, not a requirement. If you get resident CGSC, which at this point in time is incredibly limited considering the reduction in force, then you'll come out with a masters. Or sabbatical which some folks fall under. The only times I've seen full-salary plus BAH is when an OCS grad hasn't completed his/her BA requirements. At that point they get to be a college student on the govt. dole :)
Look into Student Loan Repayment Program or SLRP when and if you get ready to sign the dotted line. It'll require you to stay MOS/branch specific. This is Guard-centric as I'm not familiar with the Title X side of the house.

I was not sure until after I joined.
Are you willing to suffer humiliation, sleep deprivation, work harder than you ever have before and cut off ties to your current life?
If so, join the Army, 19d or 11b. That will give you the best chance to live out your call of duty video games.

If you are interested in a rated slot in the Air Force, the GPA requirement is only a 2.5. So if pilot, navigator, or combat systems officer interests you, you wouldn't need a GPA waiver.
Too competitive right now for someone with a 2.5 to be looking at going AF.

Start ROTC now. You get a taste of what it's like without the commitment. Take the ASVAB test, you want a high score.

For anything other than rated, I agree. But big AF always has a difficult time filling their rated slots. Most years they don't reach their target numbers. That's why the GPA requirement is only a 2.5.
And GPA isn't nearly as important to the board as your AFOQT score. They really do use the whole person concept. Rated selection boards have a much higher selection percentage than non-rated also.

Your GPA is pretty low. I'm not sure what the Army is looking for in terms of GPA but that may be your only option because I know its too low for Marines, Navy and Air Force.
