You're probably right. I guess I just need to get it done. I'm defintely not ashamed of her, but I just fear this is going to cause shite.

Do what makes you happy Ted and find out what the root of the problem with your girl is. I hope it's not a racial divide that is creating the issue.
Life is too short to be trying to appease everyone all the time. You just need to realize what makes you and your girl happy and go from there - even at the expense of your own family.

You are correct. And his racist parents already know. He said he introduced her to his children. They see his aunts, uncles, grandparents etc.
It has already come up, then worked it's way through to his parents. It probably took less than a week. Hell, some of his family has already showed them pictures on social media.

It would surprise me if they knew. I feel I would have gotten a call by now if they knew.
They don't do social media. Only way they'd see our pics is if one of my brothers or my sister showed them. But, I would expect they would have said something to me if they knew.
