I made it through most of the 55 page thread on the topic and didn't see this mentioned...

I was curious if they woukd auction. Id bid for about 4 minutes

At minimum they should be places in a civil war musuem since NOLA doesnt care about the men who built and fought for the betterment of their city

I want it to get as much attention as possible Mr, Thread Police. I seriously think an effort should be made to procur these monuments from the city. It's American History for god's sake, one group of people have no right to decide which parts of our past are more or less worthy of preserving...
