Any wear computer reading glasses?
Guy at work who has perfect vision has started wearing these as he says he in on his computer around 12 hours or more a day.
Does this help?

Look into Gunnar glasses.
They were originally designed as video game glasses, but they are great for people who sit in front of a computer all day too. They reduce glare and can make prescription pairs.

Yes, your eyes arent made to focus 12 hours a day. Computer glasses would do some of the focusing for you and relax your eyes, especially if you're in your late 30's or older.
For that much wearing, dont get the over the counter reading glasses, get a prescription pair. Will make a big difference if you're getting eye strain/headaches/etc.

You can buy them on Amazon for $10.
Just got a pair delivered yesterday.

Have a pair in my office at work and in my office at home. One pair is Gunnar and one pair is Monoprice (half the price).
I spend 10-14 hours a day behind a computer with high-res monitors (2560). Both are a huge improvement in reducing eye strain and making everything appear more crisp. I find it easier to get to sleep since I started using them when I am on my laptop or ipad before bed.
That being said, I'm sure folks around here make comments, as I look like Bono walking around with yellow lens glasses. I wear the Gunnars at work because they look much better. The Monoprice pair looks like the old school goggles basketball players wore in the 60s.

Get yout optometrist to write a prescription so that your lenses focus at a distance you normally sit from your monitor (about 12-16" for me).
Second option - bifocals with reading and computer focal lengths.
