Blacks (in the South) are not really in the same public schools. Sure, in theory, it just matters what district you're in, but the reality is that blacks live in specific areas and end up in specific schools. I'd bet that those schools that are predominantly black are worse than the predominantly white schools 9/10 times. Now, this is true mostly in the South and major urban areas (Chicago, NY, etc.) and less true in the other parts of the world.

Hell, blacks from the more rural areas (like Autaugaville) were allowed to transfer to my high school because of some majority to minority rule.
