Honestly, as said, you should find a new place of employment then. Not working around people that you respect as peers is not a positive long term place to be employed.
Right. it can't be healthy for your life to dislike the people you work with this much.

Ex-wife's office had those back in the late 80's, that's why she's my ex.

Since you are a guy, have fun and go for it.

Sound a little insecure about the status of your relationship.

Exactly. Nothing good can come from this.

So you're saying if you went, you'd cheat on your husband?

If you went, what bad would come of it?

Not at all because I wouldn’t go without my SO.

And ask the guy who ex wife did these things. Just has the potential for unnecessary drama.

Where else would I be drinking without my wife? So again, you find having a social life outside of your relationship is disrespectful?

Simply put, that's retarded.

I think I'm starting to understand your shtick. It's a bit weak, but everything gets better with some practice.

Who gets drunk at a work happy hour? At least to an obnoxious point. The more you post the dumber and dumber you look.

Social life is fine, it’s just not going to be at a bar without my SO.

Sounds like you don't trust yourself or your spouse.

Or you can ask me who does it once per quarter without having ever had an issue.

You have serious relationship issues if doing that has any potential to cause issues in your relationship, i don't even see how you can deny that.

Granted, there's sometimes one, but she's making it sound like the entire company is doing that.

We usually have 3-4 a year, they are often not scheduled in advance. We might have one after a particularly long week, or to celebrate something big. Some people stay for hours... I usually go, have a beer, and leave after about 45 minutes.

We do have a Christmas Party, which spouses are invited, as well as a family picnic.
