Don’t be so defensive. I didnt say anyone was anything. I simply said I don’t obsess about coffee.
Does the aero press or Ninja do everything in one machine or do you need to boil water separately? Trying to figure out how many steps and how long it would take. At 4am, I’d like to keep it as simple as possible

Ninja has a water reservoir that can accommodate the different settings. You just add the appropriate amount of coffee, and takes about 5 minutes or so. It has several brew settings too, from classic to rich to specialty.

Do many office locations have a stove to boil water on? In my experience that would be a no.
So they have no microwaves either? Plus you only need 180F temp water.

You wake up, put some water on a lower temp (number 2-3, on a scale of 10), come back in 10 or so mins, then take 1 min to make your coffee.

UPDATE 2: It’s been 3+ months, and the bottled water solution did the trick. Still pretty ticked off about it though since BTR is supposed to be high quality. Baffles me why this thing needs bottled water to work.

Community Coffee K-cups
never had a problem. I just tried the new pecan praline and it sucks but I love my chicory community coffee k cups.also: try cleaning it with apple cider vinegar once a month, it cleans it better than vinegar.

you should not be getting coffee grounds. this is weird. I use the plain cup sometimes and put regular Comm coffee in it and still no problem.

unplug it and clean it. The water container can go in the dishwasher. shitty water will make it run slow it needs more cleaning but never grinds in the coffee.

It’s community. Got several bad batches where the explode in the machine and griunds go everywhere. They have replaced a box of kcups once. I took them all back, bought a real coffee maker and realized I’d been drinking crappy coffee for a long time

I’ve heard great things about the Aeropress, I guess I’m going to have to break down and get one. I usually do drip coffee, when I do have a KCup it’s Laughing Man, best flavor I’ve ever had out of a KCup.

The problem is Community, not your machine.

I had this same issue with Community cups 4 years ago.

I switched brands and no more problems, ever. Not with store brands, Peets, PJs, Duncan, Newman’s... no other cups gave me the issue that Community did.

It’s pretty amazing and terrible on their part that FOUR fricking years later Community still has those defective cups.

I have this problem with sam's donut shop blend so it's not just community. It also happens with a reusable filter.

***UPDATE: I called Keurig’s corporate line and they told me the issue has to do with the water. Said it occurs all over. Their solution is for me to buy bottled water and use only that to brew coffee.
How in the world can it be the water? I mean, what did they say in regards to it being the water? Do you just need to filter your tap water?
