I always use cheap gallon jugs of drinking water, and I never have to descale or otherwise clean the Keuring.

For real.
We only use bottled water in ours. A gallon of purified water costs 1.00 or less. Not spring water or distilled water, purified.
It isn't rocket science to figure out that tap water is going to clog one up.

Community Coffee puts more coffee in their cups than the 'other' K-cups. It's a quality thing but the negative effect was the grounds clogging things up.
As for the water, bottled water or a filter is recommended for all Kurigs.
