Probably more. Half of Colorado looks like Kansas.
It really does. I drove from Lincoln Nebraska to Denver once. Eastern Colorado is rural, relatively flat farmland.

Yep. California is probably more mountainous and no doubt has a higher vertical rise. The Eastern half of Colorado is high plains.

I recently went to Zion and Bryce and i prefer them to the Grand Canyon

We drove from Denver to Steamboat Springs this summer and there is a lot of desolate flat land out there. I find a certain rustic beauty to it but my wife and kids thought it was sad.

A guy I run with is from Fort Morgan CO and he said it will rival the ugliness of any Texas town.

That’s obviously certain sections. The majority of the state is beautiful.
If I had a good reason, I’d find a reason to move to a place like Steamboat Springs it Silverthorne in a heartbeat

Idaho is badass too, but dont tell anyone, I think I'm gonna move there and dont want all you rednecks crowding it up

Did you have any Gummies while you were there?

Grand Junction is growing too. Lots of the western slope is pretty without the Denver metro real estate prices.

Go an hour north to Wyoming.
God’s country. You ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

I first visited that part of the country about 15 years ago. I’ve wanted to move there ever since. I hate it in the miserable, sweltering swamp.

I sold a beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home in Boulder to move to Baton Rouge
A better question would be how the hell did you afford a house that big in Boulder

There and Montana. I’m ready to go.

Montana is Colorado without all the hippies, traffic, and insane real estate prices.

strap on a backpack and get into the CO backcountry. It will make you even more depressed that you live in the Deep South.

Anyone who has ever been to Idaho would get a chuckle over this.
