I use to like professors/instructors who didn't give a frick what they said to the class. Anyone who thinks this is out of line is a grade A pussy.

This is just a typical way for liberals to respond to anyone who disagrees with them. Especially those who believe in the right to self preservation. Good for the student for standing up for himself and responding calmly to someone discrediting his own life for having a different opinion.

I had Tom Secrest at USL. He came to class two days out of the entire semester. Once was the first day and once during the middle of the semester. He walked in, threw his full coffee cup at the wall and walked out.

Unlike most college professors today I am all for the free exchange of ideas in the classroom, and any kind of speech should be acceptable. However, it is pretty obvious that most classes in anything but STEM are overrun with liberal bias, and any thought or idea the professor does not agree with are shut down swiftly. It has grown way past just being a problem in colleges today.
