I am 40 years old and this is the first time in my life I have ever heard of a collar stay. Is this what this board is coming to? Bunch of metros in here.

Oh man, shirt stays are really going to blow your mind. Learned about them in the military despite that they look like garter belts for men.

Just remember to take them out before taking your shirts to the dry cleaners.

Collar stays are somehow “metro” in your eyes?

I wear boot cut jeans, fishing shirt, ball cap and Ariats five days a week. I put on slacks for funerals or weddings (reluctantly) so please school me on what a collar stay is. I've never had an issue where my collar would not "stay"

I mean, I was going to mildly insult you after your last post, but after reading this, I see no reason to pile on

I thought this was going to be a thread about bondage.

Not sure if disappointed or not.

I use the adhesive dot collar stays on my polo shirts, especially the older ones, and it provides a nice sharp look for them. It’s one of the best buys I’ve made to instantly improve an outfit. Wish I had discovered them sooner.

You do you, man. I’ve just always found it amusing when people imply that “wearing jeans” is somehow more comfortable than “wearing slacks”. It tends to say more about them and their own internal perception of self than they would think
