What does he mean by early on? When his single white biological mother gave him up for adoption (after his black biological father abandoned them). Or when he was raised by middle-class loving white adoptive parents?

Pretty soon only white men will be left running for the democrat nomination. They busted their chance this cycle for a non-white president who's a kindred spirit. And if he wants to get back to the NFL he should remember every year colleges pump out more quarterbacks. It gets harder to "get back in the NFL." He had a spot there. Kaepernick is a fraud.
If he was really kneeling for police brutality or anything he thought needed attention it doesn't bother me one bit. It doesn't really bother me no matter what, but I am convinced he started kneeling for reasons that had to do with his contract (he voiced not wanting to play for Chip Kelly, he started kneeling the 3rd game of preseason when teams start making final cuts. There was even talk at one point that he could possibly want to get cut so he can go to another team).
The whole kneeling thing blew up bigger than he expected. Once he realized it could be profitable he decided he had no more interest in playing football. His actions since then have proven that. So frick his memoirs.
He grew up "white". Born in Wisconsin, his adopted family moved to a nice area in California where he attended one of, if not the best academic HS in California. So what the frick does he know about police brutality?
