As a gearhead I love the sound and throttle response that comes with installing a cold air intake, but I know that it’s honestly a waste of money and installing one messes with your ECU readings and can trigger a check engine light.

What’s your take on CAI? Trashy or nah?

It’s not a waste if you have a supercharger.

Prefer supercharger. No turbo lag. Press pedal. Go.

Keep the turbos in range. Doesn't rob engine performance.

Most twin turbos have no problem with go. Certain ones are going to use technology to spin up without exhaust. Thanks F1.

S600

C300 does an awesome job of keeping the turbo spun up in Sport+ mode.

Depends on the car. Usually a tuner will suggest this for a stage one tune. As much as 15 rwhp is often left on the table with the stock tune.

I’m in LA. I lost count of the Porsche’s out here. At home in NOVA it’s BMW land. Porsche land out here. Saw a couple of Astin Martins too driving down the Pacific Coast Highway.
