LINK ]Obsessives: Soda Pop

Short documentary/interview with the owner of the Soda Pop Stop, an L.A. store dedicated to various obscure and craft sodas.

If you have the Moxie, learn all about the evils of corn syrup and the glories of cane sugar.

Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, whatever. They're all mother fricking disgusting. Any type of soda is disgusting to me though if we're being honest.

All soft drinks are deadly. I stopped a lifetime of drinking them about 2 1/2 years ago. Lost weight, feel better.

Coke had the perfect soda when they made the C2. Too bad it didn't sell enough because Americans are mostly fatties but I thought it was way better than regular coke.

Coke Zero is the worst. I'd have to be pretty cheap and desperate for a free drink before I'd even consider it.

I've also noticed a lot of people who don't drink coffee get their caffeine from diet cola.

Sometimes reading this board reminds you of those chain emails that old people read and share with everyone they know.

I don't normally drink soft drinks but there are some foods where water just doesn't cut it. Coke Zero is my choice.

I tried the new formula yesterday, I was impressed.

Half of the people on this board who hoard soft drinks will be complaining of kidney stones 10 years from now.

I like Coke Zero. I might have a soft drink once a month. I usually go with the Coke Zero. Always thought regular Coke was too strong for my taste. Coke Zero makes a great mixer too. Doesn't take over the whiskey like regular Coke does.

ETA: There aren't any soft drinks that are "good" for you. If you can limit how much you drink then it's not a big deal. Like anything else, moderation is the key.
