Coke exploded in my car

I left the house this am at 0530 as usual, but decided to grab a delicious Coke Zero cherry before leaving the house. In my tired stupor I left my drink in my cup holder throughout the day. In typical Louisiana fashion, and with black interior, the can probably baked at/above 100’F all day. On my drive home I hit a lovely pothole (thanks New Orleans) and that damn can took off like the space shuttle Atlantis.... My car looked like the scene from Pulp Fiction where John Travolta says “aww damn I shot marvin in the face” I pull over and the only cloth I have to clean my windshield enough to get home are my socks. So there I am, shoeless, wiping my car down with sweaty socks. It was not a pleasant ride.
TL:DR left coke in truck, exploded, lesson learned.

Man, that sounds like one hell of a mess! Be glad it wasn't a regular coke...you'd never get all of the sugar cleaned up!

My wife left a can of waterless shampoo in my truck. It cooked all day while I was at work and took off like a scud missle thru my windshield. Unfortunately a true story.

I left a mountain dew amp cherry energy drink in my new truck during the winter. Came back one morning and it had exploded, figured there was so much terrible shite in there it wouldn't possibly freeze. It had exploded all over though literally anywhere and everywhere.
Thankfully though it was still frozen, so made clean up significantly easier, was a lot of crystals still. Had it been able to seep into everything It would have been awful. Took about an hour to clean up, but no lasting issues

I hope not, I am only 28. I am not sure what I am more upset about, the dirty truck or not being able to drink the damn thing.
