Coin Tosses, do you always choose one side and why?

I always choose heads. It seems like the more positive side. I am fascinated by people who choose tails though I bear them no ill will.

I am a "in the moment" type guy. It just depends on what I am feeling at the time.

The tails side of a standard US quarter is slightly heavier, resulting in tails winning 51% of the time.

Tails never fails.

Actually studies have shown heads have a 61 percent chance of winning

Always bet on the opposite side from what is showing in the coin flippers hand.

IE. the guy has it positioned on his thumb ready to flip and heads is showing, I will pick tails.


For whatever unknown reason to me it seems like this is more often that not correct, try it if you doubt

It's 50/50 and anyone that says otherwise is wrong. Flip enough times and it's a wash.

I choose tails because why not.
