what if CNN said

"The USA would be better off with fewer children who have no father"

how would that go over?

That was the theory on Trump but all his advisors and appointees are all basically lifelong crooks or just plain incompetent. I think he managed to fool an awful lot of people.

You are a liar and you spout mindless anti-Trump horse shite.

Why don't you tell us who is going to more "fairly" distribute wealth? Who are you going to put in charge of that?

I would ok with capping wealth at 15 billion dollars. Once you have this much, anything extra you make gets distributed to areas of need as voted on by the people (education, healthcare, defense).

I would be okay with building camps for people like you.

I'm very much a moderate but the rightward lurch of the GOP thanks to the Tea Party, and now Trump, has pushed me to vote for Dems. Trump isn't a Republican. He's not a conservative. He's a loudmouthed, narcissistic, dumb, populist criminal.

I judge the candidate, not the party.

You judge the candidates, but voted for two of the most corrupt pieces of shite to ever run for public office?

I can see where a moron would have been fooled by Obama's flowery bullshite in 2008.

After watching that America-hating shite stain for 4 years. Voting for him in 2012 was nothing short of traitorous.

"Very much a moderate", my arse.

Strawman. His appointees are crooks and/or incompetent and that has nothing to do with wealth distribution. One is unrelated to the other. Try again.

Oh the irony when the wealthy buy politicians to do exactly that which you find so detestable.

I'll fight for a billionaire before I'd fight for a bunch a bad decision-making whiny bitches that follow politicians who never made more than peanuts in the real world who turnaround and become multimillionaires off of a government salary and then buy houses on the beaches they say will be underwater in 5 years.

First of all, I’m a conservative when it comes to shite like this and think redistribution of wealth is un-American.

But...

Theoretically we would be far better off if, say, all billionaires had their net worth capped at $1b and all the other money is transparently used to improve schools and infrastructure. We’re talking hundreds of billions if not squandered by the government (lol)

I said theoretically and clearly made it obvious I don’t think it’s realistic nor would I ever want to do it.

So rich people = bad. We should use the threat of prison to confiscate their assets and businesses. How American of you

Do you think the life of the common man was completely different than this 50 years ago?

100% yes

My grandfather was in the air force and then owned a few gas stations

Basically a glorified mechanic who sold gas

He had 6 Children; owned his own house; and owned a vacation house on the beach in Mexico

I’m not saying people don’t labor and work hard any differently than in previous generations. But how far the money they make goes its astronomically different - due to globalization policies and other policies put in place to concentrate wealth
