Kaepernick's problem is that he isn't good enough to be a starting QB

Let's say this is a world where ticket sales dont matter and all you care about is on the field production. So you are taking Tom Savage as a starting QB over Kaepernick? How about Bortles?

Yes to both. Kaepernick was benched before he started his protest. Let's not pretend like he got benched after he started

White folks are so badass that we're even the best at being black!

I started listening to him/checking out his site a few months ago. He is pretty good.

Regardless of "backlash over politics" and/or "Kaepernick's talent" , bringing him in is almost a guaranteed problem for a team.

It is the same reason Tebow washed out, you don't want one of your highest profile players with this much media interest being a backup. Your entire narrative turns into the CK story

how can something be racist when we're not even sure what race one of the parties is?

if Shaun King is white, then how can Clay Traivs be racist towards him?

That's not remotely close to what I asked. You might as well say you would bench Aaron Rodgers in favor of Tom Brady or vice versa. I agree that Kap shouldn't be signed based off his negativity but if you're picking teams in the playground then there is no fricking way on God's green earth you are choosing Bortles or Savage over Kap.

If you are looking for a stop gap, short term veteran until you can draft/trade for a potential franchise qb you absolutely do.

How did I not answer your question? Did you miss "yes to both"? I was just adding that he was a backup before this happened and on the verge of getting cut. He likely wouldn't be a started right now either way

Sort of reminds me of the birth certificate/$1M to any charity move by Trump.

My question is this, Why does SK need to prove his blackness to someone like Clay Travis.
