Classic Car Parade in the CBD?

Hearing tons of sirens from my office and there are a ton of classic cars going down Poydras. Anyone know what's going on?

Probably vintage race cars in town for the events this weekend at NOLA.

Yea don't know if it was really a parade. Just a very long column of cars with a police escort.

The Sportscar Vintage Racing Association, the Corinthian Vintage Auto Racers, and NOLA Motorsports Park present three-days of vintage car racing, along with other activities. Highlights include a vintage car parade on Friday, Oct. 9, at 4 p.m. from the West Bank, through the French Quarter and CBD. On Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be a classic car show at NOLA Motorsports Park, with local car clubs and auto collectors participating. Later Saturday, at 6 p.m., the park will host the SVRA Mardi Gras Party, with a brass band, Southern food, and a fireworks display.

Pep,NOLA is having a big deal this weekend,too.
