I see foxes all the time around Mid City/Garden District and have heard the Coyotes a few times but never seen a wolf and I drive this area a good bit at odd hours. I'll keep an eye out but I highly doubt that it's a wolf.

Golfer I thought you'd get a laugh out of A&M flying to BR on an old arse 732 for the game.

What does the fox say?

Big blue eyes
Pointy nose
Chasing mice
And digging holes
Tiny paws
Up the hill
Suddenly you're standing still

Did it glow in the dark? We can't really pick on them too much as most of our basketball charters are CR2's.

There's a wolf-coyote hybrid that's expanding its range throughout the eastern US. They are comfortable in urban areas and have even been seen in NYC.

The only native wolf to Louisiana is the Red Wolf, which is a reddish gray color

I saw it fly over when it was on approach. It looked like it was straight out the 70s.

It could have been a coyote.

They have lots of them around there over the years.

Several people in my hood have seen a coyote lately. We have a smallish patch of woods behind our house. I've never seen it but dogs are barking more lately.
Some are freaked out by its presence. I say leave it alone.

I see a lot of coyotes on the farm in Southwest Louisiana.
If I go to the equipment shed to turn the lights I have seen a few in them and at times bobcats inside the shed when it gets cold.

In warmer weather I seen small packs of coyotes or coyote dogs in the field in the morning when i shine the tractor lights out there.

I would imagine coyotes new to be in places where they can hunt in packs and kill larger animals like baby deer and baby cattle to eat. I wouldn't put it against them being in BR.

In Baton Rouge at night I seen smaller red foxes and bobcats running around for years.

King the reason I said something about the size of the fox to jones was there is a huge difference in size between a fox and a wolf. So you are saying it is probably a grey fox then?

A grey fox gets much bigger than a red fox , but big enough to get confused with a wolf , not likely ...

City park has the best driving range in br. I think the grass is so good because no one knows it's there.

Don't let your dogs run loose. Coyotes will kill dogs.
