City Shuts Down Willie’s Chicken Shack for Violating New COVID-19 Restrictions

The fried chicken and daiquiri chain consists of eight restaurants, seven of which are located in the French Quarter, including two on Bourbon Street.

All locations of are closed after violating the ban on to-go drinks.

FWIW, the French Quarter now markedly less trashy.

This will be cleared up after proper political contributions are made.

Prior to being shut down, could a customer enter the business and order to-go food? If so, why can't that same customer order a daiquiri to go with their chicken? Is it because food is only 50% COGS while daiquiris are 75%? Can't have those businesses making too much profit. I feel a big lawsuit coming.

I can assure you, Destroya doesn't understand business enough to make that sort of an analysis-based decision.
